Ed reconnected with his roots back at his former sixth form college, Itchen College, visiting the current OCR Cambridge Technical Level 3 students as they start their Cybersecurity module.

Many students were passionate about going into the Cybersecurity industry, and Ed held some important discussion on potential paths forward, as well as covering some essential topics from their syllabus through various hands-on activities, such as cyber incident response, with some real world scenarios.

Inspired by the hit TV show, Mr Robot, Ed delivered an introduction to cryptography session through decipering text on the back of a Red Wheelbarrow BBQ restaurant menu using a simple ROT algorithm, which led to a URL on a web server being discovered - "I was pleasantly surprised by the students' excelling ability at their level, and I wish them the very best in their future endeavours".
