Queen of the Iceni

Boudica was the Queen of the Celtic Iceni tribe, circa AD60. She was a key figure in British resistance against the Roman Empire, whose failure to be honourable marked them as enemies instead of allies.

Despite Boudica's eventual defeat the Roman Empire never recovered and was unable to subdue the British Isles.

Today Boudica stands for resistance against new empires, against technological domination. Her mission is to drive out unwelcome invaders, so you can take back your technology.
